For the first time, after a long code reading, i finally can modify something and see the happy result. The idea is not come up recently, using the MV to predict search range, however, being not familiar with the JM code block my way. Although there are many things to do, such as how to identify min value for search range, and how to reasonably deduce a formula, it's the first breakthrough. the road is still long...

when i start to study java with a cpp background, i find it is very difficult to convert my mind. i always think how some features in cpp was implemented in java, this give me a little reject to java language. though java is born from c, i think they still have different applicable domains, so try to study both is good for me, and java is a pure OO language, i believe it will give me a better understanding on OOD.

yesterday i bought a book titled java2 primer plus, because i could not find java in a nutshell, so chose this book instead, but this book is not a good one after translation to my native language, all the source code are moved to cdrom, make it very inconvenient to use only because it can save about 100 pages :( these publishers only know how to make money! i am very angry!
